BLUE MOUNTAIN POTTERY in the UK

I live in Mid-Kent England, and started collecting BMP in early July 2009.   I made my first ever visit to my cousin in Toronto in June, and 5 days after my return, I bought a Duck at a local Boot Fair for £6. The seller asked if I knew what it was and I said  "A Duck or Goose, I just like it"   He then told me it was BMP, and they had closed etc.  I Emailed a pic to my cousin, who Emailed me a pic of hers. (I hadn't seen it)  Two days later, I found a Flying Goose in a Charity shop for £3, and again my cousin had the same one. She also told me we had been near to the Pottery site on one of our trips out.

Well, I liked the pieces a lot, looked on Ebay, bought a few more, and became hooked. I have found some more at Boot Fairs and Charity Shops,and bought at Auction as well as Ebay, and also had gifts from my cousin, and from Australia. Now on writing this in November 2009, I am the proud owner of over 50 pieces, animals, vases, dishes, mostly in Green, but also in Harvest Gold, Slate and Blue.
